Hello everyone,

It’s been a long time. I have not blogged in a while as I have been writing my first book (When I think about Love) on Amazon, working on the podcast series (3AM Creatives Born Invincible Series) on Apple, Google, and Anchor, and working on myself (self-love, healing, understanding).

I want to reintroduce myself as some of you are strangers and some are old friends I have not talked to in a while.  My Name is CJ Guy and I’m seeking to overthrow the system. I’m what’s known as a Disrupter aka Creative Revolutionary. I’m a thought leader and growth mindset Jedi. The system I’m going to overthrow is the Matrix, the matrix of your mind and the matrix you see everyday when we lead lives that leave us unfulfilled. I’m going to overthrow this system by sparking the Creative inside all of us awakening from the sleep and deception that unfulfilled living is normal.

My message is not for everyone, not everyone is ready to awaken; they fight to remain asleep. My message is for those who (like me three years ago) are starting to wake up. Those that are unhappy with their lives and lie awake at 3am waiting for something. Something you can’t describe but you feel it pulling you, haunting you, waiting for you to do something. It scares you and excites you. calls to you. Don’t be afraid, Or be afraid. But its ok. I went through what you’re experiencing now. No one prepared me or warned me. I thought I was going crazy or having midlife crisis. I was not and neither are you.

My message to you is this:

You are not alone, there’s nothing wrong with you, you are just awaking from a lie and what comes next will change your life forever if you have the courage jump!

It’s the Creatives among us that will transform this society, it’s time for us to awaken, this world needs change now more than ever.

Leading a movement, creating something new,  innovating and inventing, are all challenging things outside our comfort zone, in a very good way. You will end up with doubts about yourself and your mission when no one is following you or so you think. As I have discovered, someone is always watching. If you truly believe in what you are creating, no matter how long it takes, no matter how many haters come for you at night while you sleep, no matter how many setbacks you have; if you truly want it and stay grinding, you will win and others will follow your example.

For those whom this message resonates, here are some helpful nuggets I discovered along the way that will help you as you start your journey…

Find your Why- Hopefully money is not your why, hopefully you find something BIGGER THAN YOU to pursue. Something that keeps you going when it gets tough, and it will, money wont be that motivation.

Authenticity- Goes without saying, be yourself.  As sure as the night turns to day, if a man is true to himself, he can never be false to others.

Create Value- Wherever you go with the expectation of receiving nothing back.

Take Ownership- Of your imperfections, your past, your failures…means being accountable knowing everything is on you…that’s a superpower.

Seek- A circle of people who will light your soul on fire and hold you accountable to chasing your dream.

The path to change starts now with you taking action, no matter how small the step, take action today. Even if you are unsure, follow your heart and insticts and take action even if the path is unclear (that’s the best part about creating something new), it’s unclear beacuse you are the first. Your success comes from constant momentum.
